A field of 116 players from all sections of the Club took part in the day which saw a nine-hole morning Texas Scramble and afternoon Stableford competition take place.
The big winner of the day at Wrag Barn’s Captain’s Charity Golf Day was Mind Swindon & Gloucester after £1,860 was raised for the charity.
Mind Swindon & Gloucester provide advice, support and services for those suffering with mental health issues and the charity is Wrag Barn Club Captain, Mark Keenan’s chosen charity for this year.
The theme for the day was “Back to the 80’s” and many members got into the spirit by sporting imaginative costumes for the golf with 30 further guests attending the 80’s-themed buffet in the evening.
We’re always very proud of the community spirit at Wrag Barn and thank you Club Captain Mark Keenan for all the work you put into making the day such a success.
