Making Tax Digital for VAT (MTD4VAT) launches on 1st April. After this date, any business with a turnover above the VAT threshold of £85,000 (which includes the majority of farms and rural businesses) will need to keep digital records and report them on a quarterly basis.
To help you prepare for these changes, McGills chartered accountants, in conjunction with Cirencester Growth Hub, will be holding a FREE MTD4VAT Awareness Day on Thursday 14th February between 9.30am and 4pm at The Parlour, Royal Agricultural University, Stroud Road, GL7 6JR.
The event will include:
9.30am-11pm MTD4VAT Awareness presentation – practical help for businesses currently using manual systems or spreadsheets.
11.30am-1pm Upgrading your systems for MTD4VAT presentation – aimed at businesses who may currently be using older versions of SAGE (V23 and below) who need to upgrade to become MTD4VAT compliant.
2pm-4pm ‘Ask The Expert’ clinic – book an appointment to receive one-to-one advice from one of our experts.
We will be offering everyone who attends a discount on SAGE products.
