MEET THE FUTURE: SMART LABELLING FOR YOUR BUSINESS
Wednesday 13 March 2019, 9.30am-2.00pm
The Severn Room, Tewkesbury Borough Council, Gloucester Road, Gloucestershire GL20 5TT
Your labels are crucial to your marketing. They impact directly on your customers’ recognition, choice and purchasing – yet a surprising number of quality food and drink producers do themselves less than justice with poor labels on their product.
Your labels need to be eye-catching, simple and quick to read – and you need to be thinking about tomorrow’s consumers NOW, not tomorrow.
What’s more, did you know that your labels may also be costing much more to produce than they need to?
This workshop will give you the practical, hands-on bespoke advice and information you need, and the relevant legal information at a time of fast-moving change.
Objectives
The Three Counties Labelling Workshop will help you understand:
- The essential elements of a label
- The official compliance requirements of any label
- How to put together good basic specifications for your designer and your printer
- How to stay in control of the design and print processes – and your costs
Target audience
Food and drink business owners, managers and staff responsible for commissioning food and drink labels in the Three Counties (Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire) and the Cotswolds (including parts of Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire).
The initiative is being planned and supported by the quality marques Cotswold Taste Ltd, Eat Sleep Live Herefordshire and Worcester Food & Drink, working in partnership with The Three Counties Food & Drink Co Ltd, a not-for-profit company.
