How do I join FLBClub?

You can join via this website – click here ‘Join FLBC‘.

Will you send me an invoice/receipt?

Invoices/receipts for purchases made through the FLBC website (eg. business listings/Membership fees, event place bookings) will be automatically issued to the email address you entered during the payment process. If you paid via PayPal you will also receive a PayPal receipt via email.

If for any reason the email does not arrive or you need a copy please contact admin@flbc.org.uk to request one.

Can I book an event after the closing date?

Not usually, but please contact admin@flbc.org.uk to find out if there is still availability.

If I have to cancel my booking, can I have a refund?

Not usually, but in exceptional circumstances, it may be possible. Please contact admin@flbc.org.uk to discuss.

How do I find out my log in details?

An account is automatically created for you when you join FLBC/list your business on the FLBC website and you can use the given username or email address, and password you set, to login via https://www.flbc.org.uk/login

If you have forgotten your password you can reset it here, or use the ‘Lost your password?’ Link on the login page.

If you cannot remember your username or the email address used when the account was created please contact admin@flbc.org.uk.

How do I change my password on the website?

If you are logged in to the FLBC website you can visit your Account page which includes a link to Edit your Profile details. Here you can reset your password.

If you are unable to log in because you’ve forgotten your password you can reset it here, or use the ‘Lost your password?’ Link on the login page.

Can I bring non-members to meetings?

Non-members are very welcome to attend two meeting absolutely free of charge. After 2 meetings, we hope that you will want to join the Club when all meetings are free and included in the annual subscription.

There will be a charge for breakfasts or refreshments taken at certain meetings.

What date/time is the next meeting?

Details of all upcoming FLBC meetings and other events can be found on the Events page of the FLBC website.

You can also subscribe to the FLBC newsletter to receive monthly news and updates from the Club and its Members.

Can I pay for an event on the day?

No. It is best if you can pay beforehand as it helps the Club ascertain accurate numbers attending an event.

How do I find out contact details for other members?

Each Member who has opted to publicly display their contact details on the FLBC website can be found in the Members directory section. Here you can search all the great local businesses in the Fairford, Lechlade and surrounding area.

How do I receive an entry form for the Awards?

Each year details of the FLBC Awards will be published on the Awards page of the website. FLBC Members and those who have subscribed to our newsletter will also receive an email with full details and instructions on how to apply or nominate for a FLBC Award.

What categories are there for me to enter in the Awards?

Each year there are six Awards categories:

  • Business of the Year
  • Business Person of the Year
  • New Business of the Year
  • Most Innovative Business of the Year
  • The Howard Dowler Award – chosen by the Chair of FLBClub
  • The Bob Warren Hospitality Award – chosen by public vote

Entry criteria for each category will be published on the Awards page of the FLBC website and emailed to Members and those who have subscribed to our newsletter following the Awards Launch event in October.

There is also a Most Outstanding Business Student Award chosen from the Year 10 Business Students at Farmor’s School.

Are children allowed at meetings?

This depends where the meeting is being held, who the guest speaker is and the age of the child. Please contact admin@flbc.org.uk to discuss.
