As one of the perks of being a member of the FLBClub, we are offering FREE social media training to any member, who would like to learn how to use Facebook, Twitter and/or LinkedIn to help their business. This is in response to several new members requesting this training. It could also be useful to any other members that already use social media, but could learn a little more.
We are thrilled that Club member, Mary Thomas of Concise Training has agreed to conduct the training for the Club. She is very knowledgeable and her business has won many awards – take a look at: https://www.concisetraining.net/.
The training will take place on Tuesday 19th June from 9.30am till 5.30pm in Fairford Community Centre, Fairford GL7 4AF and will be broken down into three sessions. You can sign up for just one session or all three!
- LinkedIn training will start at 9.30pm till 12 noon
- Facebook training will start at 12.30pm till 3pm
- Twitter training will start at 3pm till 5.30pm
There will be a break between 12 noon and 12.30pm for lunch. You can bring your own lunch or pop across the road to Club member, Lynwoods, for a sandwich; go down to the Market Place to Club member, The Coffee Post, for a sweet or savoury treat or to The Bull Hotel in the Market Place. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available throughout the day.
Parking is free and unlimited outside the Community Centre, on the road opposite the Centre and in the Market Place. There is also a free car park just 25 yards from the Centre up the High Street. Please note though that parking is limited to one hour on the road from Kim Sutton Gallery down to the Fish & Chip Shop, so please don’t park there or you may get a parking ticket!
Although the training is FREE, we would ask you to please register online at: https://www.flbc.org.uk/events/free-social-media-training/ and pay your £10 per session refundable deposit. Your deposit will be refunded to you when you arrive at the Centre for the training.
